Annie Faulstich – Annie’s success as a real estate broker is a byproduct of her passion for two things: An abiding love of Lake life and her penchant for cultivating lifelong relationships.
“To be able to find the perfect property for my clients and knowing that they can’t wait to get inside it to truly make it their home is the best part of my job,” Annie says. “When you’ve helped someone find the vacation home they’ve always dreamed of, for example, and you see that look of eager anticipation on their faces, it is tremendously gratifying.”
Jessie Faulstich – Jesse grew up on the Lake of the Ozarks. By the time he was 11, he was already getting his feet wet in the contracting side of real estate, spending his summer breaks helping with the family business, Controlled Heating and Cooling.
He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1999, and he bought his first house seven years later. After making some finishing improvements, he sold the house in 2008. He then tackled his first new construction home.
In 2011, Jesse reconnected with Annie, whom he knew growing up in Osage Beach and through high school. They were married in 2014. Since then, he and Annie have remodeled and flipped two other homes before buying their lakefront home on Osage Beach, where they reside with their three children, Garrett, Farrah, and Schaeffer.
Episode Highlights Here:
Annie:
You need an expert to know the ins and outs of the areas and the lake and the desires you know what you intend to do with the investment?
Brett:
Well, What is the number one secret to investing in Ozark lakefront real estate today?
Jesse:
As I say, location is everything. Lakefront houses are desirable. As long as you’re on the lakefront, you have a dock in front of you. Your home valuations aren’t going to go through the extreme lows of what you would see in a downturn or not even the extreme highs that you would see in, say, a Phoenix market or Atlanta. You know, St. We see in St. Louis, Kansas City, even in the Springfield area. So the lakefront property is always going to be desirable. So as long as your lakefront, if people are coming to Lake of the Ozarks, they want to be on the lake. They want a good view of the lake, but they want to be on the lake where they can enjoy the nights with their family on the dock.
Brett:
Fantastic. Any anything to add to that, or what’s another secret for investing in Ozark lakefront real estate?
Annie:
Why do I think it’s knowing the lifestyle and knowing the intention of the purchase is so important, and we dive deep into that specifically for investing and on that side? So that, as Jesse said, comes down to location, but it’s a lifestyle because Lake of the Ozarks is so large, I mean, you know, we’re just under 55,000 acres here, more shoreline in the Coast California. So you need an expert to know the ins and outs of the areas and the lake and the desires. You know what you intend to do with the investment Excellent.
