Piper:
Then we’ve got the collateralized loan options for those who do not want to cash out.
Brett:
How does one, like a realtor, service their clients to transact cryptocurrency into real estate? Because that seems like being like a Rubik’s cube a little bit confusing kind of break it down for everyone who’s watching
Piper:
So there are three ways; well, I’ll explain how a realtor can service their clients. There are other ways, but we can do a wallet Wallet transaction with the meat potatoes of it. I do not recommend that for any novice seller just stepping into crypto, it’s usually with the people you know, who are Bitcoin maximalists, you know, and only want to take some crypto, but we can do those now. The most common is crypto-to-cash conversion. And I do use escrow companies. We do it a little differently in Southern California, where Title and Escrow are separate. But I do; my escrow company, which was set up with these payment processors, can handle those transactions. She also works as a sub escrow to any other title company in the country, which is lovely. And then we’ve got the collateralized loan options for those who do not want to cash out the loan or the sorry, the lender keeps their crypto, they lend against it, it could be 5060 70% LTV, and now we even have collateralized loans that are tied to 30 years fixed, which is impressive. Before this, it only happened this year. Before this year. It was a short-term loan people had to pay back in six months to a year, so we’ve got the 30-year option, so there are many options out there.
Brett:
So some of the third one right because right now there’s so much turmoil right in the marketplace with cryptocurrency exchanges in different places that essentially lent out right or hedged against or harbored against or allowed people to do these things, and now I mean billions of dollars and collapses of companies and people as well. So talking about what a 30-year fixed option is and what I’m trying to make sense of it, have you seen some challenges in those who’ve done those deals?
Piper:
Or you know, what I know is that they’ve been doing them slowly and incrementally. The particular company I’m speaking with now can change its low. They’ve played their cards very smartly, you know, the other companies like Celsius, three arrows, all that you know. They got a little to back, you know. They were lending off of some, you know, like error, so to speak, they kind of got a little too crazy about that, but you know. You know, these are being bought out by more enormous conglomerates, but then I believe that, you know, like the 2018 crash that kind of weed out all of the bad players, so to speak, 2022, I’m not going to call it a crash kind of a slow downward crawl. You know, it’s also going to weed out a lot of the wrong players. And all the lenders there are lenders out there that are still standing, and they’re doing just fine because they played
