When you meet someone who genuinely lives out connection, creativity, and purpose in everything they touch, Trey Roth is one of those rare people who immediately comes to mind. Long before he became the founder and CEO of Yaystack, Trey was a platinum-selling music producer — someone who understood how to bring people together through emotion and shared experience. Today, he’s taken that same gift for connection and poured it into a platform designed to make referrals and recommendations feel real, personal, and meaningful again.

Trey’s journey isn’t just about building a company; it’s about building community. It’s a story that resonates with entrepreneurs who want more than transactions — they want relationships, impact, and transformation.

In this post, we’ll explore Trey’s background, how Yaystack came to life, and what his approach can teach anyone who’s working to build stronger networks, better systems, and deeper partnerships as they grow their mission and their wealth.

And his vision is to build the number one recommendation platform in the world. He is an entrepreneur. He’s a CEO. He’s the founder of yay stack. We’re talking about geocaching gift cards and giveaways, but really what we’re talking about is building magnetic attention. Okay, we’re in the attention age, probably for now and forever. Maybe trail give us where we’re at with that. And so, if you’re a businessowner and you’re considering how to build attention. You’re gonna have an expert here for the next you know, 30 or so minutes. Please welcome the show with you. Mr. Trey. Roth, Trey, how you doing?

Trey

Doing great. Brett, thanks for having me. I’m excited,

Brett

yes. And for our listeners getting to know you for the first time. Would you give us a little bit more about your story and your current focus?

Trey

Absolutely. So, like you said, I’m founder of Yaystack. Yay stack is geocaching giveaways. It’s a platform that is reminiscent to the app Pokémon Go. A lot of people understand geocaching and apps very much with Pokémon Go, but instead of going around and capturing little creatures for fun, just imagine that, but with gift cards and giveaways. So, imagine that you’re at the ballfield and you’re about to go, you know, see your favorite team, crush it. But before you walk into the stadium, you see, off to the side, you see an Amazon gift card, like a little $10 gift card. But you can’t get it until you go to it, you know, around, say, the third baseline side of the stadium. And you, you know, and you tell your kid, hey, go, you know, go get it before somebody else doesn’t they. They physically go. They hit, react, acclaim, and they make like a fun little video, yay. Thanks, Amazon. You’re the best. Then they get a code, and that code gives them that cash money. Now, what’s really cool is that the business gets incredible attention. It’s extremely like you said earlier. Brett, magnetic. It’s just a different way to get attention. And attention is the ultimate asset. I can’t help you unless you know me or my product. You can’t help anyone without them knowing you in some way, shape or form. And so, to get attention, this is a new blue ocean reimagining of how to do that, and it’s also foundationally based on generosity. Hey, lead with value. Give first, and then that goes into something that we can talk later about Brett is truly how the secret to living is giving that’s not only personal, but professional as well. When you just give first and lead with value, then they can taste and see that you’re good, or they can experience your product or service in a way where you can, you know, that’s the start of the relationship, you know, an act of generosity. And then you can build on that

Brett

Absolutely, this is gonna be really fun, right? I get Trey. Was everybody yay stack is the is the is the is the business, okay? But really, what we’re talking about is magnetic attention, but we’re going to use yay sack as a case study and to see how it can apply to your business. And so, taking another step back trail get people get a chance to know you a little bit more. You know, I believe we’ve all been given certain gifts, and these gifts and these gifts have been given to us to be blessing and help to others. Some people call them strength. We call them superpowers. Think they’re God given gifts. I think you agree with that as well. I’m curious, what do you feel like the good Lord has given you like one or two gifts, like trade has always kind of had the natural gift of one or two things growing up. And how does that help? How you help and bless people today? So, if you’d like this little, short clip of the interview I just did. Click over here to watch the full interview, and please don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks, so much, everybody.
