The older I get, the more important history becomes. What is the number one number two being? Expert, Kirksey changer. Know your history. If you’d asked me at the start of my career, I’d said, Come up here. So it’s obvious, you know, you’ve got to be good at maths, and you’ve got to have an interest in economics. And, of course, you’ve got to be numerous. And you’ve got to have some idea of how the economy works. The free market economy works, and demand and supply and the effects of all, but the older I get, the more important history becomes because Stephen Hawking, the late be part, it’s brilliant scientist, said that, you know, homo sapiens are a clever breed of monkeys. And I wouldn’t go that far. But if we are, we are astonishingly clever monkeys. But nobody’s perfect. And we’re not perfect at the species. And one of the things we most, I think, are rubbish at is we don’t learn from our mistakes. We just repeat them in cycles. And so something happens, and if you know your history, you’ll go. I remember that. And this happens, doesn’t guarantee here. But naff, give you a steer, as opposed to panicking, like the rest of the market.

I had so many clients selling the pound, sending the pound-buying currency clients, phoning me and communicating with me on Monday, saying Shall we get out before it gets any worse? And I said if I didn’t have to do it today, no. No, come back. You’ll bounce back markets always go over the top and always go under and then resurface. Again. Always. They always exaggerate that every market in the world will not end life will carry; the UK is the fifth biggest economy in the world. We’ll be okay. We’ll be okay. So yeah, history, I think, is my apologies for the long-winded answer. Yeah, history, I would say, is really important because it gives you a perspective. Yeah, interesting.
