lot of fun for the very first time. Would you please give us a little bit about your story and your current focus? Oh,
Markus
sure. I’d love to. I’m a hardware entrepreneur. I’ve always been this way. It’s in my DNA. I am unhireable. I wouldn’t want to work with me if I was if I was going to be my boss. I love everybody about the entrepreneurial journey. I love learning about money, how to deploy it, how to use it to make real impact in this world. And I love helping others learn how money is supposed to be seen in our lives, because I think a lot of us look at it the wrong way. And you know, I heard a brilliant person once say money is like air. We need it to live, but we don’t live for air. And I think that’s really good, and I think money is the exact same, yeah, we need it to live, but we shouldn’t be living for money. And so I’m a big fan of teaching people how to focus up on, what do you really want out of life? What are What does winning really look like? What does success really look like? Because I don’t think enough of us actually define that. And then, what actions do we need to take? What habits do we need to create? Who do we need to become to live into the life that we dream?

By the way, going to play bigger game. Okay, so let’s dive right into this. What does we really look like? What have you found mistakes that hard drive entrepreneurs or people who are very successful that you coach, or at first, and then, what was the mindset shift? And then what was the method that had helped overcome when it pertains to what does winning really look like?
Markus
Oh, what beautiful question. So let’s start with this. I think the majority of people, more than nine out of 10 people I work with, have not actually defined success in a very long time. And what happens when we haven’t defined it in a long time? We’ve got things in there that we put in there when we were, like, seven or eight years old, like, well, this is a true story, by the way, one that I had to uncover that I was like, why is this in here? I pictured myself in this red Hawaiian shirt with the flamingo on it, and I’m driving that really old looking Ferrari. Why? Because, when I was watching Magnum ti when I was like seven years old. I’m like, Dude, he’s so cool. He’s so good with the ladies success. And I found myself being drawn to these things. And I’m like, wait, I’m a 28 year old dude. I don’t really want that, by the way, that shirt at one point. I’m like, well, this doesn’t really success. So first and foremost is defining it again, because we need to recognize what is success and when we usually start with money, most of us go, Well, you know financial success, right? How much is it? What is the number that actually makes you successful without defining that what a horrible, horrible journey we’re going to be on, because it will never be enough money, and we all don’t know what that looks like, more than where I’m at right now, no, that’s not a good enough answer. Here, here, here’s your $1 Are you happy now? Do you feel successful? Now? You have to define it in. And then we have to stop and say, I’ve won. I’ve already won. Do we set new goals? Absolutely.
