excellent. And for our listeners getting to know you for the first time, would you give us just a little more about your story and your current focus?
Anthony
Well, my story started off at medical school, believe it or not, I was entered into the University of Michigan Medical School at the age of 18. Decided about three or four years into it that I really did not want to be a doctor, so I pivoted and started a career that eventually landed in finance. So, you know, I really do much of the same thing. So instead of curing people’s bodies, I’m curing companies, corporate finance situations, phenomenal.

And by the way, we’re talking about mastering Cash Forecasting for business, for real estate, or even your your tech company. You know, Anthony, I believe you’ll all be given certain gifts in this life, and these gifts have been given to us, to be blessing and help to others. I’m curious, what was, what do you feel like the most natural gifts that you were given when maybe you were younger? You identified those, and how do you use those to help and bless people
Anthony
today, I’m a healer, first and foremost. I mean, that's why I selected medicine, as you know, career path at such an early age, it didn’t turn out to be the kind of healing that I ended up doing, the kind of healing that I embrace and bring into my business today is the healing of corporations, and specifically on the finance side of things. Corporations are just like human bodies. Matter of fact, the name itself, corpus comes from body. So how corporations work and how human bodies work, you know, mind, spirit, soul doesn’t really matter. It’s all an integrated whole. And that’s the approach that I take when I deal with my clients.

Excellent. So actually, we’re going to retitle this this episode financial healing for your corporation. So let’s dive right into that. Anthony, what is the number one secret to healing financially your corporation?
Anthony
You know, it starts and ends with cash management. There isn’t a single more important metric. As far as I’m concerned, think of cash as blood, right? You can’t live without your blood, right? Your but your business cannot live without its cash flow. Net income is not something you spend. It’s great. The CPAs need to know that I’m a recovering CPA myself, but I’m primarily a finance person, and so I spend most of my time trying to predict the future. And the future that we’re trying to predict most of the time is, what’s the working capital balance going to be at the end of each month for the next 18 to 24months? Do we have enough? Are we going to run out? What do we do with it? If we have excess? If we need it, where do we get it from? Where are we going to deploy that working capital to greatly enhance the bottom line or the overall health of the organization?
